Jerrel Emery, M.D.
Our Founder and Medical Director
Jerrel Emery, M.D., has a long history in San Diego's East County. After growing up in Temecula, CA, Dr. Emery lived a short time in San Bernardino while attending Loma Linda University Medical School. After earning his degree, he completed an internship and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston, Texas. Education and training completed, Dr. Emery returned to California to join the Grossmont OBGYN Medical Group, where he remained for several years.
In recent years, Dr. Emery has transitioned into the area of aesthetic medicine. He served as the Medical Director for 10 California locations for American Laser Skincare, overseeing patient care and personally treating patients with injectables like Botox and soft tissue fillers. In 2015, he opened the first location for Dr. J's Elegant Reflections Med Spa.
Dr. Emery has designed our aesthetic center to offer anti-aging and skin enhancing treatments such as injectables and Stage IV laser procedures, performed by an extensively trained clinician. Laser treatments are used for pigment correction, hair removal, and skin tightening. His patients may also choose to achieve fitness goals with personalized weight loss management that includes Natural Herbal Supplements and medications, or age management with exercise, nutrition, and Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy.
Dr. Emery is in the process of achieving board-certification in anti-aging and regenerative medicine to combine with his wealth of experience in aesthetic medicine. This certification will complement his attention to individual patients and his philosophy that the outer reflection is a testament to inner health and vitality.
Dr. Emery lives just north of San Diego and enjoys time with his wife of 25 years, Leslie, their six children, and three grandsons.
Tianna Miller
Managing Director
A Passion for empowering women, Tianna educates clients on anti aging technology, coaching women on building a healthy lifestyle inside and out, while striving to bring out what is unique in each client. She has years of experience behind the science of antiaging internally and externally. Assisting Dr. Emery she will create an individualized treatment plan that’s focused on personal specific needs with proven results. The treatments at Dr. J’s Elegant Reflections Med Spa are geared towards beauty through technology, with a noninvasive approach.

With extensive assessment experience behind hormonal imbalance, bio identical hormone replacement, sun damage, platelet rich plasma, sexual rejuvenation, fractional laser skin tightening, medical facials, skin care, laser hair removal., and cosmetic injections. Striving to live an active lifestyle along with her clients, Tianna enjoys spending time with her family riding bikes along the beach, adventurous hiking trails, and traveling to new landmarks.
Shawna Wigell
Manager / Patient Coordinator, LVN
Meet your right hand (wo)man and our Temecula manager, Shawna. A professional Licensed Vocational Nurse for over 10 yrs, Shawna is certified and trained in our treatment protocols for skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, vaginal rejuvenation, platelet rich plasma, as well as bio identical replacement. Her experience has provided her with a thorough knowledge of facial anatomy and expertise in cosmetic injections for facial assessment based on patients specific anti-aging needs.
In addition to providing our patients with support before and after treatments, Shawna also assists clients to achieve their weight loss and wellness goals, spending time with clients on a weekly basis and coaching them through Dr. J’s medical weight loss program. She loves seeing her patient’s positive transformations, inside and out. Outside the medspa world, Shawna practices what she preaches when it comes to healthy living and loves keeping active with her five year old son in the local community of Temecula.
Erica Sevilla RN, BSN
Lead Registered Nurse
Throughout my career as a Registered Nurse, I have expanded my skill set on many different levels, with special focus in Medical Aesthetics. I have extensive knowledge, passion and experience working with an array of cosmetic injectables, including dermal fillers, and Botox. I am also proficient with platelet rich plasma, Vampire facials, laser hair removal, laser vein treatment, vaginal rejuvenation, and a variety of skin resurfacing treatments. I make it a point to stay up to date with continued education and training in the latest aesthetic treatments.
I am a real “people person”, who absolutely loves working with patients and I am truly passionate about the service that I provide to each and every patient I see, I look forward to meeting you at our La Mesa San Diego location one day soon.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my daughter, and my stepson. I also love staying active and fit, dancing, socializing, and the occasional lounging around and watching a good movie.
Courtney Emery
Receptionist
Dr. J’s daughter, Courtney, is one of the first lovely faces you will see when you walk into our Temecula office. Warm and friendly, she enjoys helping patients with all their day to day questions and concerns, while booking their appointments to ensure all of their expectations have been met when they come into Dr. J's Medspa. Courtney is known for her amazing customer service and natural ability to connect with others, she takes the time to get to know you and your personal concerns. Courtney enjoys camping, off roading, and fishing with her six year old son Luka here locally in the Murrieta area.
Jayme Bush RN, BSN
Registered Nurse
With a passion for combing health and beauty, Jaymee assists clients in skin rejuvenation, anti-aging techniques as well as tackling unwanted hair growth. After receiving her bachelors degree in nursing from San Diego State University, Jaymee began her career as an inpatient cardiac nurse. Shortly after, her interest in aesthetic nursing lead her to an RN position at Dr Js, where she continues to promote healthy living with her clients. Jaymee is a friendly RN professional you will meet at our La Mesa San Diego loaction.
